Welcome to the website of the Artists of the South Corridor!

The Artists of the South Corridor (ASC), is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization for fine artists living and exhibiting in far south Austin, Manchaca, Buda, Kyle, Creedmore, Lockhart and surrounding areas.  It was established by Joellen Simmons and Ginny Harlow in 2006 as a way for local artists to get together to encourage mutual support, information sharing, critiquing, learning and exhibiting their art.

ASC members include a wide variety of artists who work in oils, pastels, acrylics, drawing, watercolor, photography, sculpture, and fabric mediums in both traditional, contemporary and abstract forms.  Several members are well known for their European art, flowers, landscapes, wild birds, animal art, Texas historical oils, wildflowers and seascapes.

ASC exhibits in many communities and venues around the Austin area and all members are encouraged to participate.   We participate in juried and non-juried exhibitions. All of our members offer artwork for sale and/or accept commissions.  Please contact the individual artist for more information. In addition, we have screens available for rental by individuals or clubs for exhibits.

We enjoy promoting the fine art of our members, providing art demonstrations, art education, networking, and artful discussions.  We encourage you to visit us at one of our meetings.  We meet the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 am. Check the Events tab for location.  Dues are $30 per year for active members and are payable in January.  Currently we do not have on-line payment set up for dues.  You may pay your dues at the next regular meeting.  New members are welcome.

Here is a sampling of some of the art of our talented members.
